Just to make everyone aware you can overwrite the English version of this software with the Spanish version. If you do this the software will need to be reactivated before it expires. You can still use the same login information you had before.

You can only do this depending on the version number of the software you have. You will need to have installed the latest English version which is if you have an earlier version you can not install the Spanish version on top of it.  If you attempt to you can corrupt the files which means neither version will work until you have followed the uninstall instructions in this forum.

If you decide to install the Spanish version over the English version You will not be able to install the English version over the Spanish version until the English version has a higher package number than the Spanish version.
My example of this is let's say you have the Spanish version installed which is and you decide you want the English version you can not just overwrite the Spanish version because the Spanish version has a higher package number than the English number.

I will not be offering support to those people that want to interchange versions and move from one language to another. I suggest you do a complete uninstall and then reinstall if you want to swap languages. You can follow the uninstall instructions in this forum if you need assistance.

It is not possible to run both the English and Spanish versions of this software together. They have the same package name so you will need to choose the language you want before you install.

I have now released the Spanish version of EFL. You can see the download link on my home page I still have improvements for it but decided to release it now as doing the updates for it are easy enough. If anyone sees any bad Spanish ie spelling mistakes please let me know. I have started a home page for the Spanish version at the link below.
The Spanish version is an exact copy of the English version. You can not run 2 versions alongside each other.

I will be releasing a spanish version of Education for Life soon. I expect it to be released at the end of September. I have started work on it today. Im sure you can imagine it is a long winded process.

If you get the error message The "'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine."
the fix is simple go to the link below
Click on the big red Download sign and you will be given 2 options one is for the 32 bit install and the second is for a 64 bit install. As my operating system is 64 bit and my PC is 64 bit I will put a check mark in the 64 bit box. I will then click the next button which will download the 64 bit installation file to my computer. Once you have installed that download restart your PC and all will work.

I have no plans to show all results in the personal scoreboard. I do how ever plan on updating it to show more. Do you have a particular score in mind that you would like to see listed?

Hi Emma, You should of extended the serial life before it expired. As of writing this it is not possible for me to reactivate something that has expired. I can reactivate the software but you will now have to reinstall it. You can contact me via email if you would like to do this. Please bear this in mind for future ref.. as it will save you time in the future if you extend the life of your serial before it expires. I will consider in the near future changing the software to do what you have just asked.

The next major update will allow people to challenge each other online. I have no fixed date at the time I write this this but hopefully it will be soon.

Activate Software / This is how you activate the software

To activate the software click on the Activate button near the top left side of the software. You then need to close the software and reopen it. Then click on the activate button again and once again close the software and reopen it. Do this 3 times and the activate button will disappear. Your software is now activated, it has to be done this way to reduce fraudulent use of my software.

Software will need to be reactivated if a new update comes out. You are welcome to ignore the update and keep the old version. It just means you will be missing out on new features.

I have had some people say they get an error when installing this software. If you do get an error complaining about the registry key like in the image below. It is because you failed to install the software with Admin rights like you were asked.

Do you get an error like this?

This is not a major issue just a small hiccup which you can overcome. You will need to read my thread on uninstalling the software to get past this. Once you have uninstalled the software simply start over. This time remember to install the software with admin rights.
